Festival of Dalmatian "Klapa" in Omiš, Croatia

A festival of Dalmatian "Klapa" in Omiš is one of the most important musical events in Dalmatia, which is held every year since 1967. This kind of music is generally popular in Dalmatia, so you can expect many visitor of this festival.



The festival has contributed to the growing popularity of folk songs all around the Croatia and surrounding countries. So the tickets, especially for the final night, are often sold weeks earlier. A super final of the festival is usually held in late July. Klapa’s (harmony) singing has been recently included in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
